The Packaging Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing an overall packaging management strategy at Home Market Foods; this includes initial product development, procurement cost savings initiatives, and supply chain optimization. This person will find themselves integrated into activity management, supply chain, production, and procurement. Experience – At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer position in a fast-paced and constantly evolving manufacturing environment. Must have ISO 9001 Certification experience. Experience in problem solving techniques such as 8D, PDCA, or DEMAIC required. MS Office – MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all necessary in the creation of both visually and verbally engaging analysis reports and presentations.
