 REPORTS TO :&#xa0; Director of Plastics Engineering 
 LOCATION: &#xa0; Portersville, PA (Pittsburgh area) / Indianapolis, IN / or Charlotte, NC 
 POSITION SUMMARY :&#xa0; &#xa0;The Plastics Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in all aspects of plastic part production including plastic material specification and selection, processing, part and mold design, and assembly and operation troubleshooting.&#xa0; This role will focus on implementation of Keter&#8217;s 2025-2028 Sustainability targets for North America as related to raw material projects and reduction of carbon footprint.&#xa0; This position will engage with all Keter North American Manufacturing facilities and collaborate with other Keter Global divisions.&#xa0; 
 &#xa0; 
 ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES : 
 The Plastics Engineer will have responsibilities for the following: 
 
 Lead Sustainability Material Projects across Keter North America Facilities 
 Manage recurring Sustainability meetings and project timelines with Keter North American facilities 
 Support onsite material, process and quality testing of new Sustainability materials and additives at Keter NA Facilities 
 Create technical specifications for plastic raw material purchasing and suppliers to ensure products meet performance requirements 
 Support internal and external production through the creation of product performance characteristics and product testing methods (critical to quality) 
 Review material test results and provide guidance on results interpretation 
 Plastics expert for all North American operations.&#xa0; Provide guidance, education and technical support to all plant level process engineers and technicians 
 Work directly with purchasing, quality, engineering, and other departments as a cross functional team member to help develop product and material solutions 
 Collaboration with Keter NA Sustainability Team and all Facilities to drive other Sustainability projects related to recycling, energy consumption, reduction of carbon footprint, employee engagement and training, etc 
 Adhere to all corporate engineering standards including but not limited to documentation and file management 
 Cooperation with Global Keter Sustainability and Corporate initiatives and projects 
 Manage projects for new technologies related to plastic part manufacturing. This may also include project management related to product and/or resin projects, material supplier development and equipment specifications and selection 
 Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing education, experience, and judgment 
 Continue to monitor and report the current and future trends along with shifts in the overall usage and market of recycled resins in the marketplace

 Required Skills / Abilities: 
 
 Expert in polyolefin polymers 
 Strong knowledge of plastics processing / process engineering, material selection and material testing methodology 
 Solid understanding of Polymer Melt Rheology as it relates to Injection Molding 
 Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
 Able to interpret FEA analysis and mold flow simulation 
 Must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills 
 Excellent communication skills 
 Preferred if candidate possess 3d modeling software knowledge 
 Proficient is MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) 
 Willingness to travel 20-40% 
 Passion for sustainability and proven track record of success in implementing sustainability initiatives

 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
 
 Education / Experience: 
 
 Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in Plastics Engineering, Plastics Engineering Technology or equivalent 
 5+ Years&#8217; experience in a plastics or plastics manufacturing
