Responsible for strategic management of Bemis current customers. Provide oversight on overall customer profitability, responsible for identifying and implementing profitability improvement measures. Become an extension of your customers organization, understanding their business as well as them. Identify, pursue and secure strategic growth opportunities in the customer base. This position is focused on internal customer/profitability management as well as customer relationship building/management.
Specific Responsibilities: • Responsible for profitability on current customers, to include managing the tactical activities that negatively impact profitability. • In partnership with the Bemis Leadership team, identify and implement profitability improvement measures for current customers. • In partnership with the Market Managers, identify, pursue and secure profitable growth opportunities within the current customers. • Manage the Rules of Engagement for all customers. Ensure rules are being adhered to and followed by the customer base and Bemis. • Build a strategic relationship with current customers at all levels of the customer organization. • Lead the Quarterly Business Review process for all Bemis customers • Be the commercial point person on all NPD activities. • Provide 12 month business forecasts as part of the Bemis quarterly and annual forecasting process. • Be the internal voice of the customer. • Create customer awareness of Bemis’ full suite of advanced technical capabilities. • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%. • Minimum 5-7 years sales experience in an OEM manufacturing environment. • Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of customers • Exceptional verbal, and written communications skills • Effective presentation skills in front of small and large audiences • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision – time management skills • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the internet. • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities to resolve issues/conflicts to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company.
