Maintenance and Reliability Engineer – Peekskill, NY

We are seeking a professional like you to provide technical expertise to the Maintenance Organization by utilizing your 5 + years of experience in maintenance and rotating equipment. You will have accountability for site preventative and predictive maintenance activities. Additionally, you will react to equipment failures and drive to the root cause through troubleshooting, RCFA, and bad actor / asset effectiveness programs. You will continuously improve the reliability of site assets through use of SAP Maintenance systems and data analysis tools, training, procedure updates, expense projects, and small capital projects. You will facilitate BASF-sponsored safety awareness & training initiatives (confined space entry, lock-out tag-out, hot works, line break as well as other structured safety programs) and troubleshoot quality and process problems in collaboration with production supervisors, production engineers, process engineers, quality engineers, and others to ensure that all aspects of equipment operation and maintenance are managed. Process problems may include dealing with the technical difficulties of corrosive and hazardous chemicals and operating temperatures up to 2400°F.
