The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be based in Hollis, New Hampshire. Farm is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our talented and dynamic product development group and play a critical role in creating the next generation of advanced medical technologies.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…
Work on an exciting variety of products ranging from home health wearables to surgical robotics to next generation therapy systems.
Engage with clients ranging from early stage start ups to fortune 100 medical device companies.
Collaborate with industrial design, user interface, human factors, software, and electrical teams to produce successful product designs.
Conceptualize, investigate, and develop innovative product architectures, parts, mechanisms, and assemblies.
Present to clients and internal teams to communicate design value, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
Create robust design solutions using CAD, analysis software, and lab equipment.
Procure, assemble, and test advanced prototypes to inform design decisions, refinements, and to demonstrate performance.
Document designs details for manufacturing feedback and launch.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
4-7 years of product development experience.
Highly collaborative team attitude.
Demonstrated ability to use SolidWorks and/or Creo to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases.
In-depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques (including plastic part design and/or metal fabrication)
Ability to quickly ramp up on, assess, and resolve diverse product challenges.
Versatility and high levels of creativity and technical comprehension.
Proven creative capacity as evidenced by the ability to invent, conceptualize, and abstract.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

CAD advanced surfacing.
Electromechanical product experience.
Medical device experience a plus.
Engineering simulation software (FEA, CFD, etc.).
Design of experiments.
Experience with Medical Extrusions.
